It was an instant global hit and pushed Karol into mainstream fame.
Ahora Me Llama was also featured on her debut full-length album Unstoppable which was released in late 2017. The album peaked at number 2 on the Top Latin Albums Billboard chart. The album was well-received by the fans and Karol was massively praised by critics as well. She also ended up being one of the finalists for top female artists of that year at the Billboards Latin Music Awards.
Her second studio album came out in 2019, titled Ocean. She followed it with a big collaboration with star artists like Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Anuel AA, and Ozuna on a song called “China”. It topped multiple charts and garnered over 14 million online streams. Her third album KG0516 came out in 2021 despite 3 singles from the album being released in 2019 and 2020. She has released two singles from her upcoming 4th studio album Strip Love in late 2021 and early 2022. In 2021, she also appeared in a voice role in the movie Koati.
