While releasing music, she kept creating her regular vlogging content for YouTube as well. In 2018, Naija signed a deal with the label Capitol Records. Months later, she released her debut extended play, named after herself. The EP topped the R&B charts on Apple Music and debuted at #26 on the Billboard charts.
Speculations regarding her debut album were picking up heat and she released Pack Lite, in July 2020, as one of its singles. The album, titled Missunderstood, came out in October that year and featured 18 tracks. The album proved to be more successful than initially assumed and peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200. Three tracks off the album received a gold certification and the album itself received a nomination at the 2021 American Music Awards. The same year, Naija put out a special deluxe edition of the album, titled Misunderstood…Still. Following the successful release, she set out on a tour across 19 cities in the US.
She uploads her songs and various random vlogs to her YouTube channel. She is subscribed to by 5.06 million users and her channel has garnered over a billion total views.
