2 years later, Hector himself departed from his position as the CEO and later joined NRG Esports. The same year, OpTic Gaming and its parent organization were acquired by the Immortals Gaming Club. In 2020, Hector returned to his position of CEO after announcing he had reacquired the organization from IGC.
Aside from his activities with OpTic Gaming, Hector also runs two YouTube channels. His first-ever YouTube channel has been uploading videos since 2009 and has nearly 950K subscribers. The channel is called HECZ and it mostly constitutes of videos related to gaming and OpTic Gaming. His other channel is called HeczTV where he can be seen putting out a wide variety of content. The channel was created in 2014 and has 184K subscribers.
