A YouTube channel called ApexTV has gathered some attention in recent months, with clips of a people who have claimed to travel through time. At first, people were getting a laugh out of this content, thinking that it had to be some sort of joke.

In one of the earlier videos, an anonymous man hid his identity behind a blurred face, and claimed to be from the future. The mysterious man said that he has been on time traveling missions. He claimed that on one of his most recent missions, he saw dinosaurs up close and personal, and the video was met with skepticism and ridicule.

However, people began taking the channel a bit more seriously when one of their time travelers, who claimed to be from the year 2045, actually passed a lie detector test.

In a new video, the ApexTV crew talks to an alleged time traveler named Kasper. As with the other alleged travelers, Kasper’s face is blurred out to protect his identity.

“Shocking things are going to happen in the future. I’m going to share with you one of the most shocking things that you will have ever heard before. You will be absolutely shocked at the information I’m going to give you,” Kasper says.

One of the most shocking claims made by Kasper is that the future is ruled by artificial intelligence, and world leaders are replaced by computers. He also claims that Los Angeles will be flooded and entirely underwater just 43 years from now.

These numbers are slightly off from the prediction given by a different alleged time traveler with the name of Adam Archon, who suggested that this same thing would happen in just over 25 years. Adam Archon was the one who passed the lie detector test, so perhaps his word should be trusted more, or perhaps the entire channel is a hoax.

YouTube commenters were not pleased with this video.

The top comment reads “ApexTV owes me 16:52 minutes of my life back…with interest.”

Another viewer accuses the Apex team of recycling their characters.

“This is Noah pretending to be “Casper” Apex is a JOKE,” another comment read.

In the earlier video, the alleged time traveler showed a picture of a dinosaur that he claimed to have taken on one of his missions. The man claimed that the photo was taken during the Cretaceous-Palaeocene era. He said that the photo was proof of a purple Tyrannosaurus Rex that existed 66 million years ago. The alleged time traveler then showed a photo, which appeared to be a computer generated image.

The video has already been seen hundreds of thousands of times, but most of the commenters seem to believe that the photo is fake.

Unfortunately, most scientists have long ago ruled out the idea of time travel as a legitimate possibility.

According to Professor William Hiscock of Montana State University, “Time travel into the past, which is what people usually mean by time travel, is a much more uncertain proposition. There are many solutions to Einstein’s equations of General Relativity that allow a person to follow a timeline that would result in her (or him) encountering herself – or her grandmother – at an earlier time. The problem is deciding whether these solutions represent situations that could occur in the real universe, or whether they are mere mathematical oddities incompatible with known physics.”

There are some fringe scientists who do believe that time travel is a possibility.

Gaurav Khanna, a professor of physics at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, says that if humans were able to achieve light speed travel, they could potentially travel into the future.

Can we travel much further into the future? Absolutely. If we could travel close to the speed of light, or in the proximity of a black hole, time would slow enabling us to travel arbitrarily far into the future. The really interesting question is whether we can travel back into the past,” he said.

Although, even Khanna thinks it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to travel backward in time.
